Bk says chg oil 3ms or 3,mls Chgd oil 4mths ago car stayed in gar no miles driven. Should I change oil again??

I would recommend just driving it for the 3,000 miles. What can happen and the reason for the 3 month thing is for people that drive their car down to the Piggly Wiggly and home. The car never warms up to burn off any moisture in the pan. The acids and moisture work to damage the engine and the oil breaks down.Bk says chg oil 3ms or 3,mls Chgd oil 4mths ago car stayed in gar no miles driven. Should I change oil again??
personally I wouldn't....sitting in the engine does not ';wear'; the oil. It's almost the same as having the oil in the bottle. It's still new oil for the most part....run it until it's due for a change.Bk says chg oil 3ms or 3,mls Chgd oil 4mths ago car stayed in gar no miles driven. Should I change oil again??
No.

Are you planning to use the car in the next 3 months?

Or keep it stored indefinitely?

If you plan to drive it from time to time, then once a month you should run the engine (transmission in Park) until it comes up to operating temperature. Or take it for a 10 mile drive on an expressway or highway.

This will bring get the oil hot enough to evaporate (boil off) any water that may have accumulated under the oil.

If you plan on long-term storage, there are several other things you should do.
No...if you drive your car less than 3,000 miles a year, you only need to change it one time per year. If you want to be really cautious, change it every 6-8 months.

As a side note, cars are meant to be driven....if you arent starting the car or at least driving it around the block once in awhile, you can develop moisture or tarnish in the fuel line (depending on if the tank is empty or full), moisture in the plugs causing potential starting problems, battery issues, or flat spots on your tires.

At the very least, if you are storing a car for more than 3 months, make sure fill up your tank and use a product called Sta-Bil in your gas tank. Gas goes bad after about 3 months and this product preserves that fuel, thus saving your fuel lines/system.

This is more than you asked, but wanted to share. Good luck.
