How do you change the oil on a car?

Drive over to jiffy lube and cough up $16.How do you change the oil on a car?
First its probably easier to have someone else do it, for as much as oil and a filter will cost, jiffylube or greased monkey will only be a few bucks more. However if you like to get dirty, grab a drain pan and some jackstands or ramps. first you will need to locate the DRAIN PLUG. Remove that but make sure your not laying directly under it, it is a DRAIN PLUG after all and as soon as its loosened it will start draining. After you fill your drain pan and get it out of the way you need to take off the OIL FILTER. It looks like a soda can and its not easy to take off. There is a wrench made for that and i'd suggest you get one. After you remove the filter grab your new one, fill it up and use a little oil and rub it on the rubber gasket on the oil filter. Then replace the filter and the drain plug. DO NOT FORGET TO REINSERT THE DRAIN PLUG!!!!!!!!!!!! Then pour the oil into the top of the motor and your good to go. Just let it sit and run for a minute or two and relubricate everything and be easy on the car for a little. How do you change the oil on a car?
Buy a new oil filter and some oil.Rev up the car until the engine is hot.Unscrew the oil pan bolt from the oil pan ( which is under the engine ) and unscrew the oil filter. You will need to catch the old dirty oil in a tray !!

Refit a new clean oil filter re tighten the oil pan seal bolt refill with oil - run car and top up the oil level to the correct level.
You will need a wrench or socket that fits your oil pan plug. It is just a bolt that screws into the oil pan. You will need some thing to drain the oil into. You will need a new oil filter (purchased at any auto parts store). You will need an oil filter wrench that will fit your oil filter. Run the engine for about 15 min. Turn it off. Loosen the drain plug. Place container under oil drain hole. Remove plug (carefull not to burn yourself). Let drain fully. Use the oil filter wrench to remove the oil filter. Let it finnish draining. Fill new oil filter half way with new oil, and dab some oil on the seal of the filter. Screw the drain plug back in. Screw the new oil filter on. Remove the oil cap from the valve cover. Add remaining oil to the engine through the valve cover. Screw oil cap back onto the valve cover. Run engine about five minutes, turn off engine, let sit five minutes and pull the dip stick to check oil level. Pick up your tools. Pour old oil into the oil containers you just emptied into the engine. Dispose of old oil at any auto parts store that will take it. Done!
normally just below the radiator just a few inches ahead there's a nut which u need u open it up and there is mentioned oil drain nut and wait for the oil to get removed
