Cold air intake on a car that blows oil?

i have a car that blows oil but it runs amazing, i keep up the matinance and its been running forever but i wanna get a cold air intake for my car for better fuel economy and alittle more horse power. is my compression to bad for a cold air intake ?Cold air intake on a car that blows oil?
Your car ';blows oil'; because the piston rings are toast. The CAI certainly isn't going to hurt the problem, but why not save that money and put it toward getting your motor fixed. You might be surprised how much more power you have when your piston rings actually seal correctly.Cold air intake on a car that blows oil?
No the compression is not too bad but a cold air intake will not help your car. A top end - new valves and rings - will liven the beast up.

More horses may kick a hole thru the engine block so be careful, do the engine rebuild first.
