Hi my 1995 ford fiesta uses 1 litre of motor oil every week, the car dont smoke is this normel ??

if you are using that much oil in a week and the vehicle is not smoking ,, then i would suggest you have a leak probably from the sump, the rear main crankshaft seal , look for oil where you park,, because the sump holds most of the oil when stationary,, you might not notice when on the move

run the engine while stationary for 5min and see if you can detect oil dripping downHi my 1995 ford fiesta uses 1 litre of motor oil every week, the car dont smoke is this normel ??
Not normal, it`s going, some whereHi my 1995 ford fiesta uses 1 litre of motor oil every week, the car dont smoke is this normel ??
most likely cause is the valve stem oil seals, small rubber o rings that sit on the valves. these prevent oil being sucked into the engine on the pistons down stroke. a head gasket set is about 拢15. i asume there are no leeks! check inside the air filter box thou and if there is alot of oil it could be piston rings hope this helps
no valve stem oil seal or blocked breather blowing it out that's to much
Of course it's not normal ... there is clearly piston ring wear or valve guide wear or perhaps you have a major leak that as yet remains undiscovered! Hey, the car is 13 years old and may need a bit of TLC ... if you can rule leaks out, investigate an additive that may give you better oil consumption without a major rebuild ( try Halfords ). Smoking is not always present in engine wear, at least to any great extent.
should use that about every 5000 miles I'd say? Could be an oil leak..or your engine's gone
no, not normal!

Your valves or rings may be worn out.
pull a plug or two. if they are oily you have piston ring problem. you say it does not smoke out of exhaust? all that being true you may have a oil leak. it may not show much when parked but under pressure (running) it is spewing on the road. check around the motor for oil residue.
leak oil

value covers leaking

rear main leaking

time chain cover leaking

oil pan leakin

check these out may find it
i think it is time to rid yourself of this car
if you check your owners manual in the back the statistics should tell you what the oil consumption should be but 1 litre a week sounds a lot even in a well worn motor so check for an oil leak if no leak then check your water reservoir and make sure it is not oily also undo the oil filler cap and luck under the cap for a creamy residue if you have either of these you may need a new head gasket if that isn't it then the engine is burning oil whilst running and this could be that you need new piston rings or the valve stem oil seals need replacing hope this helps
have you look under the car for wet spots and/or check your tail pipe.... if its black and or wet.... it leaks or burns with that old of car im sure its normal to have a leak or even use it and a qt a week you should be able to see where its coming from
