If you convert your car to run on vegetable oil...?

is there something you can do to make it not smell like a fast food restaurant?

no rude comments please. If you convert your car to run on vegetable oil...?
Unfortunately, no.

It's french fries and donuts. I have some friends who claim to not notice a difference, but I definitely can. It stinks. (Not that I enjoy or prefer the smell of diesel fuel). If you convert your car to run on vegetable oil...?
ah, ummm, before the oil industry got into the act...the first diesel engines ran on vegetable oil because the engine was developed for farm use and the fuel that could be gotten there(when there was no fuel was ';squeezings and distilling out of green plants- flax oil, sunflower seed oil, and cotton seed oil , rapeseed oil which worked in the first diesel engines. The oil companies saw that and said they could make a version of that fuel using mineral oils(what comes from the oil wells) and basically replaced the on the farm oil production.

That is the history.

To answer your question, they could not grow enough oil producing greenery(if they took and grew it on all the food bearing lands on the planet) to last more than 1 day. What are you gonna eat in those 5 months?

That is the facts as to how much oil is used per day. Millions of barrels.
Yes, don't use used oil. But then the cost would be more then the cost of diesel.

Ah that's for ethonal, if you look algae oil you will see we could make more then enought fuel.
it is not illegal to do, but if you do not pay taxes on it, then you can be fined $10,000 per day. SO, send in $.40 per gallon or so to the authorities and you will be legal.
I don't think so, it's the exhaust that smells. Unless you could put a bag over the exhaust, it would fill up quick.
You do know that's illegal?
