This is an interesting question. In the US you need to change oil every 3000 miles / 3 months. In Europe nobody does is more oflen than 6000 miles / 12 months whichever come first. I suspect the oil shops in the US market 3000/3 model to sell more oil and make more money or they sell crapy oil which is not good - I personally believe in the first option. I check oil if it's clean and change every 5000 miles.From how long to change oil the car?

Really depends on the car manufacturer's recommendation, but typically every 3,000 miles OR 3 months. The time factor is used on cars even if the mileage is not met due to elements that the car is put through (i.e. heat, cold, dust, etc.).
